The Home Team Release Infectious Pop-Infused Single "Loud" | THE NOISE

Seattle quartet The Home Team is back with the latest slice of what they like to call "heavy pop." The band's experimental nature is showcased as they seamlessly blend staple sounds with a funky journey that captivates long-standing fans and newcomers alike.

The track's well-executed pairing of rock and pop elements creates an enchanting musical experience for anyone who listens. Pop rock guitar melodies lead the charge from the start, melding seamlessly with lead vocalist Brian Butcher's addictive vocals. Cheeky, double-entendre lyrics weave in and out of funky bass lines, catchy percussion patterns, and upbeat yet subtly angsty guitar riffs.

"Beyond the obviously sexual subject matter of the song, Loud is about finding your confidence in giving 110% to things that may be outside of your immediate comfort zone," Butcher says about the new song. "Sonically, 'Loud' gets into territories that we've always wanted to explore as artists, specifically in accessing a lot of groove and style, rather than just excessive energy," We wanted to take a pop approach to a song and rock-ify it, as opposed to the other way around (which I've found is a lot more common."

The accompanying music video, directed by Sam Link, is a cinematic visual that highlights the band's humorous personalities in a satirical way. Donning matching velour sweatsuits and delivered with this old-school MTV vibe, the band busts a move in silly yet well-choreographed dance routines. Throughout the rest of the video, the guys deal with a difficult director and try to survive the shoot.

The Home Team have had a busy 2023 on the road, wrapping up a headlining tour in early spring and joining the stage with bands like Senses Fail and Don Broco. The band has new music in the workband's2024, hitting the studio with names such as Zach Jones and Erik Ron. They're now geared up to embark on their headlining spring tour. Fans can catch The Home Team supporting The Used alongside label mates Honey Revenge.
