SWMRS - "Lose Lose Lose" [Live + Interview] | All Eyes On

The past couple of months has seen SWMRS take their sophomore album,  Berkeley's On Fire, and their infectious approach to punk across Europe in a monumental worldwide tour that is finally about to hit the stateside. We had the distinct pleasure of inviting this group of punk upstarts out for a night of tried-and-true rock music before they set off on the North American run of their tour.

Performing fan-favorite "Lose Lose Lose" from their sophomore album, we, and now you, get to witness exactly what makes SWMRS Ones To Watch. Plus, be sure to stick around for our exclusive interview where we found which members of SWMRS was just a moment away from getting cornrows.

SWMRS is punk at its finest. For SWMRS, punk is not a catch-all term rife to be capitalized by all the wrong people but a genuine ethos built around the sweat, tears, and endeavors of a group of young adults tired of a generation who has left them to burn by the way-side. Nowhere is this sentiment more pronounced than on the Oakland-based band's striking sophomore offering, Berkeley's On Fire. Inspired by not just witnessing the 2017 Berkeley protests first-hand but the media's portrayal of the events, SWMRS' sophomore album stands out as a powerful piece of protest music in a time where we need it more than ever.
