## How PARADICE Builds Its Lineup

PARADICE Festival 2026 follows a clear curatorial approach. A Grammy-level headliner draws the crowd, and a focused undercard introduces artists at key turning points in their careers. The result is a boutique poolside festival where discovery feels intentional rather than incidental.

Kaytranada anchors the night with a globally recognized catalog. DRAMA and Collect 200 arrive with growing momentum and strong streaming stories. Local DJs DMTRI and Hooper connect the bill to Las Vegas’ own dance culture, while Zaher J points toward the festival’s interest in groove-heavy, soul-adjacent sounds. Each act plays a distinct role in how the evening unfolds.

## The Ones To Watch

### 1. Kaytranada

![Kaytranada](https://s3-us-west-2.amazonaws.com/onestowatch-v2/artist_157_img_tile.jpg)

Kaytranada is a Haitian-Canadian producer and DJ whose blend of house, R&B, and electronic funk has reshaped modern dance music. His Grammy wins formalized a reputation built on meticulous, groove-forward production that translates cleanly from headphones to festival systems. At PARADICE 2026, his headlining DJ set closes the night after the undercard has warmed the poolside crowd. Expect fluid transitions between his own catalog and the Chicago house, Afrobeats, and neo-soul influences that shape his sound. The Sandbar’s intimate layout, with a concert capacity of roughly 2,500, keeps the experience close and immersive.

### 2. DRAMA

DRAMA brings a moody, mid-tempo counterpoint to Kaytranada’s high-energy finale. The Chicago-rooted duo pairs producer Na’el Shehade with vocalist Via Rosa. Shehade draws from chic Chicago house, while Via Rosa’s delivery reflects jazz improvisation, hip-hop cadence, and bossa nova phrasing. Their sound lands in a space between indie soul and dance-pop, with arrangements that leave room for groove and melody.

Over nearly a decade, DRAMA has built a following through self-released EPs and independently planned tours. That groundwork led to collaborations with Gorgon City on “You’ve Done Enough” and with Poolside, placing them firmly in the global dance conversation. Their live sets are tight and rehearsed, with pacing that lets each track breathe. At PARADICE, DRAMA functions as a bridge between the early-evening DJs and Kaytranada’s headlining energy.

### 3. Collect 200

Collect 200 is an electronic and dance duo led by Stevie Appleton and Nick Henriques, working between Los Angeles and Toronto. Their sound blends lush electronics, alt-soul, and sample-driven disco, a style Clash Music calls “sample-delic disco.” The duo builds that sound on vintage hardware, including a Prophet 6, Juno, Super6, and a 1968 Hofner bass, which gives their records a warm, tactile feel.

Appleton and Henriques met at Miami Music Week and wrote their first song, “Mixed Emotions,” on the final day of that trip. Their debut album *Everything Will Be Alright*, released April 30, 2026, was conceived as “a journey of discovery and optimism.” That vision has connected with listeners, driving nearly 50 million streams and positioning the single “Goodbye” as a standout with 17.5 million streams on its own. The momentum earned them a place on Shazam’s Fast Forward ’26 list of emerging artists to watch.

On stage, Collect 200 performs with Ableton, live vocals, keys, loops, and FX. This setup keeps the energy steady while allowing subtle shifts that suit a poolside crowd. The Sandbar’s scale and sound system align naturally with their club-ready, warmth-first approach.

### 4. DMTRI

DMTRI represents the Las Vegas electronic scene that underpins PARADICE’s regional identity. As a hometown DJ, DMTRI understands the Sandbar’s poolside layout and the pacing that works for a desert evening. That familiarity often translates into sets that feel tailored to the space rather than imported from a touring schedule.

At festivals of this scale, local DJs frequently act as connective tissue between a venue’s regular programming and the elevated production of visiting headliners. DMTRI’s placement on the bill reflects that role and gives early arrivals a direct line into the city’s own dance culture.

### 5. Hooper

Hooper joins DMTRI as part of the festival’s local contingent. This pairing grounds PARADICE in the Las Vegas scene rather than relying solely on touring acts. Their presence mirrors a familiar pattern from EDC Week, where established crossover artists share space with rising local DJs.

Las Vegas pool-party culture has long served as a proving ground for DJs seeking wider recognition. Hooper’s slot at PARADICE functions as an early-career milestone and a chance to play for a crowd drawn by Kaytranada and the national undercard.

### 6. Zaher J

Zaher J is an emerging act whose booking aligns with PARADICE’s groove-focused, soul-adjacent aesthetic. Details on Zaher J’s catalog and background are still developing. The placement alongside DRAMA and Collect 200, however, signals a discovery-minded choice that fits the festival’s broader programming strategy.

## Why This Undercard Matters

The PARADICE 2026 lineup illustrates how boutique poolside festivals can balance star power with genuine discovery. Kaytranada drives demand, while DRAMA and Collect 200 arrive at moments when a strong festival look can shift their trajectories. DRAMA’s long independent run and high-profile collaborations show a project ready for larger stages. Collect 200’s debut album and streaming performance point to a fast-climbing act.

Las Vegas Weekly notes that PARADICE 2026 marks the event’s second year, following a successful debut. That continuity suggests We the Beat is building a recurring fixture rather than a one-off. [OnesToWatch](https://www.onestowatch.com/?utm_source=ai-growth-agent&utm_term=best-ones-to-watch-paradice) has seen a similar pattern across festivals: by year two, organizers understand what their room responds to, and the undercard often becomes the most interesting part of the bill. PARADICE 2026 fits that trend.
