## The Rotating Support Lineup On Caamp’s 2026 Tour

Caamp’s 2026 routing ran from March 7 through October 4 and covered more than 30 cities across North America and Europe in support of *Copper Changes Color*. Each leg featured a different opener, which kept the bill fresh while matching regional routing and festival commitments.

Richy Mitch & The Coal Miners opened the April 22, 2026 date at Allianz Amphitheater in Richmond, VA, and also shared the stage with Caamp at High Water Fest 2026 on April 19 in North Charleston, SC. Mon Rovîa and Hannah Cohen handled much of the summer run, including the CMAC show in Canandaigua, NY, listed as June 21, 2026 by NYS Music and July 21, 2026 by the *Democrat and Chronicle*. Blind Pilot opened the August 17 and 18, 2026 dates at KettleHouse Amphitheater in Bonner, MT.

Whitney then stepped in as direct support for the fall headline dates, including the [September 25, 2026 sold-out show at Stage AE in Pittsburgh](https://entertainmentcentralpittsburgh.com/music/concert-guide-sept-2026-olivia-rodrigo-kacey-musgraves-leann-rimes-cheap-trick-breaking-benjamin-and-caamp) and the October 4 Fort Lauderdale date listed above.

## Who Is Whitney? Meet Caamp’s Fall 2026 Opener

Whitney is a Chicago-based indie-folk and soft-rock project formed in 2015 by guitarist Max Kakacek and drummer and vocalist Julien Ehrlich after the breakup of Smith Westerns. The band records for independent label Secretly Canadian and blends folk, soul, and country elements, with Ehrlich’s falsetto as the defining focal point. *The Guardian* summed it up as “Think Bon Iver, with elements of folk and country, only given a Chicago soul makeover.”

Their debut album *Light Upon the Lake* arrived in June 2016 and drew praise for its warm production and introspective writing. The catalog now includes *Forever Turned Around* (2019), the covers set *Candid* (2020), *Spark* (2022), and the 2025 album *Small Talk*, which *Newcity* called “a masterpiece.” Whitney has played Lollapalooza, Newport Folk Festival, and Coachella. Their hometown recognition runs deep enough that Chicago mayor Lori Lightfoot proclaimed August 30, 2019, Whitney Day to mark the release of *Forever Turned Around*.

The overlap between Whitney’s warm, horn-friendly folk and Caamp’s banjo-driven Americana makes this bill feel cohesive from doors to encore. ## Caamp Set Times And Show Length

Caamp headline sets typically run 1 hour 30 minutes to 1 hour 40 minutes, based on 2025 and 2026 averages from setlist.fm. That window usually covers 19 to 22 songs plus an encore, with a mix of older material and *Copper Changes Color* tracks.

Individual nights can stretch longer. The August 21, 2026 Fiddler’s Green Amphitheatre set ran 1 hour 40 minutes, while the July 23, 2026 Forest Hills Stadium show extended to 2 hours 50 minutes. With Whitney’s opening set included, plan for roughly a 3-hour evening from first note to house lights.

Typical timing for Caamp headline dates varies by venue. Doors often open between 5:00 and 7:00 PM, with Caamp taking the stage between about 8:15 and 9:00 PM. At the August 29, 2026 Columbus show, doors opened at 6:00 PM and Caamp started at 9:00 PM. At the September 25, 2026 Stage AE Pittsburgh show, doors opened at 6:00 PM with Whitney playing direct support before Caamp.

## What Time Should I Arrive For A Caamp Show?

Arriving at or shortly after doors gives you Whitney’s full set and a smoother entry. Doors open well before Caamp plays, so early arrival usually means shorter lines and less time stuck at security while the opener starts.

That timing also helps at the merch table. Caamp’s prices run lower than many comparable touring acts, and several popular items, including the Copper Changes Color 2025 Tour Tee and the Caamp x Columbus Clippers Jersey, are already marked Sold Out on the [official store](https://caamp.myshopify.com/). Early arrival increases your chances of finding those pieces at the venue before they disappear from the road as well.

Whitney is only opening a limited run of Caamp dates at this scale, so these shows offer a rare chance to see both bands in the same room. Treat doors as the real start time if you want the full experience.
