347aidan Crafts a Sonic Playground in the brakence-Produced 'I feel like doing candy flips and riding elephants'

Platinum-certified buzzing alternative pop star 347aidan continues to show off his ever-evolving artistic vision with the release of his latest EP, I feel like doing candy flips and riding elephants. Produced by labelmate brakence, the three-track collection sees him explore and experiment with different sound palettes, creating a record full of lush, entrancing textures and raw lyricism.

The opening track, "candyflips!" is an upbeat opus that sees the artist on top of the world and high on life, and maybe something more according to the lyrics, but we're not one to judge. Amid dynamic layers of steady percussion patterns, synthesizers, and smile-inducing lyrics, 347aidan embraces his feelings and declares, "I'm here to set the world on fire, bring 'em hell / This I haven't felt in a while, but oh well, I'm alright." A Funked-up bass line, twinkling, sparkling xylophone flourishes, and shouty vocals fill the air alongside the wonderfully chaotic, glitchy soundscape, injecting listeners with a healthy does of unbridled euphoria.

The EP then switches gears on "sinkhole." While still somewhat retaining the upbeat energy of the previous track, a darker, moodier collection of synths, beats, spiraling sound bytes, and warped vocals take the lead, creating a sinking feeling that correlates with the track's name. Going off in one long and introspective verse, 347aidan reveals to listeners the complicated emotions he feels towards his lover, life, and career. Lines, like "Watch shows and then I play them back / I like knowing where my future's at" and "I'm breaking out this cage alone / And hеading to a new unknown" pack a punch as he continues to open up, ultimately disclosing on the chorus how "cold" and alone he feels, leaving us on the line "I feel like a ghost when they all around me."

On the body of work's closer, "noname," the tone again shifts into a more mellow space, with samples of the wind blowing weaving in and out of intricate guitar picking and dreamy production. In the finale, 347aidan muses over his expectations of love with lines like, "Love is all, love is all the same / Why would I expect to see it changed? / When every time I hold onto the blame / It means nothing to nobody anyway, yeah." In the verses, echoing vocals explore more of the artist's psyche while drumming patterns sporadically glitch in and out of the production, making way for a choir of 347aidans to hold our attention throughout the track's captivating chorus.

The new EP comes after the release of his last single, "SUNDAY" and his collaboration with The Chainsmokers on "Up & Down." 347aidan has garnered over one billion streams and counting with a catalog that notably boasts the platinum "Dancing In My Room" and the gold-certified Sleepy Hallow's "Die Young," featuring 347aidan, among others.
