Co-Stanza Wants You to Take a Leap of Faith in "Test the Water"

With many of us stuck at home running out of things to watch on Netflix, overthinking has become an unavoidable pastime. It's all too easy to get caught up in the what-ifs and worse-case scenarios when thinking about making any life-altering decisions, especially during a time of so much uncertainty. Taking any risks feels like the last thing that should be on anyone's to-do list.

In his latest release "Test the Water," Co-Stanza is taking on the role of the optimistic best friend, giving listeners a much-needed push to take a leap of faith. Drawing inspiration from his own fears surrounding leaving his hometown, Co-Stanza has written a song overflowing with infectious positivity. In his own words,

"You'll never get a guarantee in life. You'll never know for certain how anything will pan out. COVID is a perfect example of how even perfectly thought out plans can be uprooted without your consent. This song is about making the decision to try things, even when you can't be sure how it'll turn out."

After a brief hiatus from releasing music, "Test the Water" is an impressive follow up to Co-Stanza's break-out single, "I Don't Mind." The Chicago native once again joined forces with producer Peter Fenn, to craft a quintessential summertime anthem. Co-Stanza's airy vocals effortlessly melt into the dreamy production of the track. Keeping aligned with his goal of spreading good vibes through his music, "Test the Water" is giving us a necessary reminder that everything is going to work out exactly how it's meant to.
