Trying to outrun your past is a marathon that leaves you winded; outgrowing it is a revolution. EMELINE’s latest release “Dance With My Demons”, is the final single of her debut album, Emotional Virgin (dropping March 6th), the Rhode Island songstress isn’t just acknowledging her demons, she’s inviting them to the dance floor.

“Dance With My Demons” is a cinematic dark-pop odyssey that fuels a journey with rapturous energy. The track begins with a grounded vulnerability of a traditional pop ballad as EMELINE sings, “Tonight I’mma dance to get even//Tonight I’mma dance with my demons// Pull him in tight // Tell him he can’t fight the light.” The tone is set immediately, and in EMELINE”s vulnerability, lies a defiance that hints at the dynamic nature of the single.

Directed by EMELINE herself, the accompanying music video juxtaposes gothic imagery with the track’s resilient rhythm. This pairing embodies the track’s central theme, that by becoming intimate with your fears, you strip them of their power over you.

2026 is shaping up to be a massive year for EMELINE. Her world tour officially kicks off on Valentine’s Day in London followed by a highly anticipated stateside run this spring. Between this and the release of Emotional Virgin, there’s no question on how excited we are to see where she goes next.
