When Actual Life 3 debuts on October 28, Fred Again.. will have delivered three albums in the span of 18 months. That feat alone is nothing short of incredible. His undeniable talent took physical form earlier this year in his live Boiler Room set, once again bringing to life the palpable excitement that surrounded his Coachella debut. His passion for music is uniquely amplified by his love for connecting with people. The smile on his face when he performs is infectious. It feels as if he is aiming to make the world a better place one sample and one show at a time. “For me being in a room like this can be one of the most healing experiences in the whole actual world,” shares Fred Again...

Sampling “You’re Mines Still” by Yung Bleu, Fred again.. shows no signs of taking his foot off the gas with his new track “Bleu (better with time).” The underlying club beat is sublime and perfectly amplifies the overall melodious vibe of the track. The entire song feels like a warm wave of hope is washing over you. It's a further testament to Fred Again.. flawless pedigree for sampling and an ensuing masterclass on how to craft music that is unique, conceptual, and full of heart.

There’s something special about the samples Fred again.. uses to encapsulate the hopes, dreams, and fears of people. It’s no secret that UK artist treats his albums as a personal diary. You get the sense that he is striving to chronicle the human condition and establish that we’re all in this together. His unrelenting positivity is a breath of fresh air. If the goal is an authentic connection through music, you most assuredly get that feeling from “Bleu (better with time).” It’s yet another transcendent and inspiring track in Fred Again..'s rapidly growing discography, and unquestionably one you’ll be playing again, again, and again.
