Brooklyn's Great Good Fine Ok (GGFO) has been making extreme waves with their eclectic synth-pop beats since 2014. Having toured with Betty Who, Joywave, and Magic Man, the innovative duo has perfected their incredible live performances with silk kimonos and thrilling lights. Ahead of their upcoming EP, GGFO is showcasing their unquestionable ability to draw listeners in with every gratifying verse with their sensational new single, "Terrified."

Upon the first listen of "Terrified," it's obvious that GGFO is heavily influenced by contrasting elements of synth-pop, funk, and hip-hop. Discussing an experience most of us are all too familiar with, GGFO addresses the inevitable state of agitation we face when trying to make a difficult decision based on our extreme emotions. With the help of polished rapper Pell, GGFO has crafted a precious harmony of compelling synthesizers, groovy guitars, and funky bass lines that leave us feeling more than just great, good, fine, and okay.

Great Good Fine Ok's Jon Sandler exclusively shared with us,

"People make decisions based on either love or fear. 'Terrified' is about acknowledging and overcoming that fear. I think everyone can relate to being in a relationship that freaks them out in some way, and this is a tribute to that commonality. Some of our songs come together quickly, and others take a while to reach their full potential. 'Terrified' falls under the latter. We started it in 2017 on a writing trip in the Catskills Mountains (where we also wrote 'Change'). Over the course of the next two years, we slowly refined the writing and production. We recorded a full horn section in Los Angeles, wrote a new chorus with Bryce Vine in New York City, and added Pell, who wrote an amazing rap and whose voice set the perfect tone. Stylistically, it turned into something very different for GFFO. It was a labor of love and we couldn't be happier to finally share it!"
