The group's vibrant sound usually flows with funky basslines, catchy, electric choruses, and bright vocals, drawing inspiration from a variety of genres. "Pure Gold" is soaked in this signature, blissful funk-pop sounds that the group often explores in their music, while still finding the space to swirl in electronic sounds, an endlessly catchy chorus, and stand-out drums. The track was produced by Ariel Rechtshaid, an artist who has worked with creatives like Adele, Sia, Vampire Weekend, and more.
