Following her struggles with epilepsy, singer-songwriter Jordan Armstrong has made it a point to recognize and cherish life's simple joys. Choosing happiness and taking the high road, this sentiment is embodied in her latest single, "High Note," which sees her fully embrace life without overthinking or looking back.

The country-rock offering is a unique blend of musical influences, creating a sound that is a delightful mix of '60s and '70s country with a y2k pop twist. Her rich, one-of-a-kind tone shines throughout, especially in the chorus, with poignant lines like "Don't need to rehash the past / Just let it all burn and watch it glow / Let me leave it on a high note," reinforcing the idea that life doesn't have to be so heavy and serious.

"High Note is about taking the good out of life and leaving the rest behind," shares Armstrong about the track. "It's a lesson I've had to learn quite a few times over the past couple years. If you let life weigh you down, it will. While this song on surface level seems to be about a one night stand. It's really about allowing yourself to be light and take what you need from life. I wrote this with Brianna Nelson and Stacey Kelleher, two amazing artists/songwriters. This song is for the girls by the girls. And it's just in time to kick your summer off on a high note."

Open to endless genre combinations, Jordan keeps her writing world free of boundaries while keeping things honest, believing the best music comes from truths and silver linings. Her distinct sound and unique tone, mixed with her introspective writing abilities, make her a star on the rise to keep an eye on.
