Khushi - "Sane Man" [Live + Interview] | Baà±o Flaco

In between the haunting meditations of Bon Iver and the rich, expansive soundscapes of James Blake, exists Khushi. The rising London-based vocalist, songwriter, and producer does more than simply take inspiration from critically-acclaimed giants. As a matter of fact, his own poignant meditations seem to influence them in turn.

2019 has seen Khushi tour alongside Blake, as well as lend his producing prowess to Blake's lauded Assume Form. The love for one another's immaculate craft goes both ways, with Blake mixing a number of the tracks on Kushi's forthcoming debut album.

As we eagerly await Khushi's much-anticipated debut album, we have just the thing to hold you over. Khushi made a rare appearance at our last Baà±o Flaco to perform "Sane Man," a yet to be released single from his upcoming album. The result was a spellbinding glimpse into the London artist's ability to transform striking simplicity into grand, undulating sonic spaces rife with life and variation. If there is one thing above all he proved on that stage, you need to be keeping your eye on Kushi.
