Kofi Reflects on the Past, Present and Future on "Came Up"

With an angelic voice and ability to deliver both trap anthems and softer ballads, Kofi proves he has the artistic arsenal to last. The Ontario native began as a producer assisting members of OVO until exclusively focusing on his career. Weaving between singing and rapping at any given moment, Kofi makes his blend of hip-hop and R&B distinguishable.

His newest song, "Came Up," acts as a testimonial. Reflecting on past struggles, love and growing success, Kofi chronicles his journey up until this point. Showcasing his smooth vocal ability over a soft yet bouncy production, Kofi captivates from the song's opening keys. We reached out to Kofi to elaborate on what the record means to him; Kofi explained,

“It's about adjusting to the changes in life and not forgetting the people that have been with me from the start.”

This is Kofi's first release, since sharing his EP, Tripolar, in late Dec. 2018. Kofi's hybrid style makes his rise imminent, it's not a matter of if it will happen, but when. We expect big things from Kofi moving forward and cannot wait to see what he delivers. Listen Kofi's new single, "Came Up," below!
