Leven Kali Enlists Smino and Topaz Jones to Clear Things Up in "Homegirl"

"Homegirl" follows the release of Kali's album Low Tide earlier this year and sees him enlisting a couple noteworthy friends for the follow-up. Set to appear on his upcoming album, High Tide, the Smino and Topaz Jones - assisted "Homegirl" is a silky-smooth ode to clearing up any misunderstandings. Kali spoke further on "Homegirl," sharing with The FADER,

“Whether it's from friends, family, the ‘gram, or TMZ - we've all gotten the, 'Oooh who's that?’ accusation of someone who’s just a friend and nothing more. This song is an answer to that.”

So, next time you get caught sending that "I miss you" or "Thinking about you" text, you know exactly what song to hit play on. And if that doesn't work, well at least you got an impeccable R&B and hip-hop offering to soundtrack the ensuing argument.
