Mynameisntjmack is back with his first release of 2025 in “chase”which features breakout Virginian rapper Tommy Richman as the final snippet into the newly announced mixtape, Bookmark 2. “chase” hits at just over two minutes and is a meditative reflection on ambition, with tenacious production and introspective lyrics to accompany it, the track is an exciting preview of what’s to come from the breakout Virginia rapper.

“Chase” follows the successful "american spirit" and sees jmack at a turning point. At its core, the track is a redefinition of the traditional rat race. jmack raps, “Setting a record, was never Usain // We don't compete now, what's that to me?

Been on my pedal since 2016, must I repeat?” With a message far too relatable to its audience, “chase” is cathartic as it is self-realizing. When we’re too deep in the trenches of our own success, we can’t recognize how far we’ve come in the journey. It’s an invite to look beyond the immediacy, but settle into the bigger picture of our growth.

As direct support on the Coyote tour with Tommy Richman, mynameisntjmack is solidifying his position as an innovative force, actively shaping the next chapter of rap.
