Whether the name Peter Fenn rings a bell or not, it's almost guaranteed you've heard his work. Having produced and written for artists like BabyJake, Zachary Knowles, Rence, and so on, Fenn has made his mark with his incredible writing skills. But, with his new single, "Dashboard," he proves he's more than just the man behind the scenes. And we're more than thrilled to be premiering his new tune while he embarks on this new chapter of his career.

"Dashboard" is a song that reminisces on the good old days of when you could actually go outside, enjoy your time with others, cruise to the beach, and blast the tunes you love. Fenn explains, “I made 'Dashboard' during the beginning of the Quarantine. My buddy Conrad (Public Library Commute) sent me a guitar loop and I pulled it up in the morning while I was drinking my coffee and the song just poured out. I was imagining just a carefree day where me and my girl could just drive out the beach. Conrad and I went back and forth a few times with the production and then it was done in like a day.”

The song is a vibe unlike no other. The melodic guitar sends goosebumps up and down your spine right at the beginning, and Fenn's vocals layer over the track like butter. While  "Dashboard" is a flawless combination accompanied by a beat that creates the urge to start grooving around your living room, I truly believe its the lyrics that shine the most. Easily my new go-to quarantine bop.

Peter Fenn is a name you should get used to hearing, and "Dashboard" feels like just the start. So, once this is all over, jump in your car, roll down the windows, and blast "Dashboard" as you drive past the beach.
