seeyousoon Needs You to "Shut Up" [Premiere]

99% of the time when you hear, "and now for some news coming out of Florida," it isn't good. This is that 1%. We've been fans of the Florida-based group seeyousoon since they released their debut single "Steamy"  earlier this year. The nine-piece comprised of singers, rappers, and producers have effortlessly showcased their talent and versatility through their trio of releases so far. From big "bar you up" energy on "Steamy", to the downtempo and vulnerable vibe on "ICFWT", to the upbeat and funky house bop on "Blue Chord", seeyousoon is delivering quality music for everyone to appreciate.

Today, they're back with the premiere of "Shut Up." Speaking on the song, seeyousoon said,

"'Shut Up' began as a throwaway on one of our phones. One of our producers originally made the beat and recorded the hook while he was on tour. The song is such a burst of raw energy on the album, we find it interesting that a song with such size and presence was created on a device that fits in the palm of your hand.“

"Shut Up" is a two minute tirade that adds fuel to the hype building around their debut album, VIDÉ, which is set to drop later this year. In the meantime, watch the video below.
