Viral alt-pop sensation Tessa Violet is back with her latest bubbly new single, "MY GOD!." The airy track, featured on her upcoming album of the same name, is full of flirty fun and is a charming celebration of Violet's effortless chemistry with her latest lover.

With her signature cheeky lyricism, Violet uses playful religious imagery in the steamy track as she compares her passion and sexual desires to blessings, heaven, and angels. "MY GOD!" begins soft and saccharine, with the artist singing sweetly, "If I got one shot to do what I want to / Be real and tell you I want you / Lord knows I never but my tongue." As the instrumentals slowly intensify, the single becomes racier and racier before settling into the perfect sexy sing-along as Violet repeats, "I just want to be devoured / Hot and sticky in the shower / 'Hallelujah' say it louder."

"'MY GOD!' is something you could say in response to great or heartbreaking news," the colorful artist shared. "Of which there is both on this record. I want to empower listeners to feel like I did when I wrote this album - powerful, sexy, and in control."

The single comes alongside the announcement of the release of her forthcoming album MY GOD!, set to release July 14, which features the TikTok trending smash hit "YES MOM" and the breakup anthem "You Are Not My Friend." Well-known for her social-media savvy and the fanbase she began building on YouTube in the late 2000s, Violet has racked up many viral hits since her debut album Bad Ideas in 2019. With 37 million likes on TikTok, 1.8 million subscribers on YouTube, and multiple trending audios, it is clear that Violet is an artist ready to command the digital age.
