Ava Max is a pop force to be reckoned with. The certified pop princess has spent the better part of her less than two-year career releasing nothing but bops. And while she may have only a handful of singles to her name, each and every single one of them is a veritable anthem. The same can be said of her latest offering.

"Salt" sees Ava Max reaching into the vault to pull out a fan-favorite the people have been begging for, for quite some time now. Originally released on Soundcloud and YouTube, the electrifying track racked up over four million streams on the latter all on its own. Now, Ava is gracing us with "Salt" in all its high-fidelity and pristine glory.

The anthemic self-empowerment single moves at an incredible pace, never losing its footing for even a moment. It is difficult not to get swept up in the feel-great storm that is Ava's dynamic delivery. "I got my thigh-highs on, feel like Wonder Woman / That’s when you want all in, but I’m not your woman / When my lipstick pops and I feel like Monroe / That’s when you want me most, oh-oh," sings the platinum blonde and 2x platinum-certified artist in a moment that would perfectly soundtrack any runway catwalk.

Through and through, string section orchestration and all, "Salt" is living proof of the power of an amazing pop song. It is a high-energy bop that makes you feel like you are standing at the top of the world, not a care or a fuck left to give. Long live our pop princess Ava Max.
