flor Explores Human Connection in the Heavenly "ley lines"

The idea of human connection is at the core of flor's iridescent brand of alternative pop. Exploring themes of self-doubt, heartache, and eventual love, the Oregon-formed, Los Angeles - raised band has found that the most moving songs are formed from the common connecting threads that make up the lived human experience. It is this ethos that builds the foundation for flor's latest stirring single and their forthcoming sophomore album.

"ley lines" arrives as the title single from flor's sophomore effort and follows a string of singles that have illustrated the band's constant growth. Finding an impressive amount of power with its infectious instrumentation and nearly-hushed vocals, the new track moves forward with a serene sense of pacing. It is trademark flor at their finest, unassuming yet grand in the amount of lyrical depth and emotionally-driven hooks the band manages to explore in the span of a few short minutes. Frontman Zach Grace spoke on "ley lines," sharing,

"We've gotten where we are by following our instincts, so when we started to record the album, it was important for me to believe in myself and our band. Ley lines are these pathways that connect places of power. I was drawn to the idea of these anchor points creating a route: this defining of a journey, and this strengthening through connection. The more we're able to connect these anchors, the more we can trust ourselves, be unshakeable, and find happiness, regardless of the push and pull of the world around us."

In following their most artistic and human instincts, flor finds themselves poised to deliver their most inspiring collection of work to date. And if "ley lines" is any indication as to what exactly that may sound like, it is heavenly.
