Kunmie emerged as one of Nigeria’s most exciting new voices with his 2025 breakout single ‘Arike’, which spent five weeks at number one on the Official Nigeria Top 100 Chart, charted in over 20 countries, and reached the Official UK Afrobeats Chart Top 5. His debut album is a bold, evocative and deeply personal record about freedom, survival, self-belief and refusing to accept a life mapped out by other people. Across the album, he confronts identity, purpose, faith, love, insecurities and self-sabotage.
