Lil' Ashes is composed of lead vocalist Pollie and musician Jonathan. Before his debut, he made a name for himself in the independent music scene with his unique Acoustic Pop, and later signed a contract to become a vocalist under Sony Music's OUR Works. In 2014, they released their first sing-along album "Be Little", which became No.1 on the iTunes and HMV album charts, and became the top-selling newcomer group that debuted in the same year. In addition to winning the love of Hong Kong music fans, Xiaochen was also invited to participate in the Hong Kong Clockenflap Music Festival (the main stage opening unit), the Hong Kong Lion Rock Music Festival, the Beijing Strawberry Music Festival and the Shenzhen Strawberry Music Festival.

The fourth album "Little By Little" was released in 2019, and the vinyl version will be released in 2020. With this album, it also won the 43rd Top Ten Chinese Golden Songs "Best Chinese Record Award - Band Combination" and the New City Best Award Ceremony "Best Team" award. The single "Second Confession", which will be released in 2021, won the runner-up of the all-around "903 Professional Recommendation", and reached the top five positions in other pop charts.
