There’s something special about when you finally meet the right person. Everything feels as though it has clicked into place, and all the romantic cliches don’t feel quite so cliche anymore. Rising indie-pop artist BEL is ready to embrace everything that comes with the beginning of the perfect relationship and is sharing her dreams in her latest release “Party Tricks.”

Speaking on the new single BEL shared, “Party Tricks" is a manifestation song. I’m visualizing what it’s going to be like when I eventually do meet the right person. I love leaning into the nerves, excitement, and all the romantic things you do early on when you really like someone. I imagined that person getting along with my friends, hosting dinner parties together, being silly and completely obsessed with each other.”

“Party Tricks” features a hazy instrumentation full of fuzzy guitars and strong, steady drums, giving it dreamlike quality. Listener’s can easily picture BEL sitting, staring out a window, picturing her future as she sings “Come if you want to bring your friends / Show all my party tricks / I just wanna impress you.” BEL’s perfect future also includes a love letter from her dream partner, and the two of them eating dinner on the floor of her new apartment, which in any other situation is less than ideal but at the start of a new relationship is incredibly romantic. Through her lyrics and instrumentation, BEL has perfectly captured the giddiness and joy that are at the center of a perfect relationship.

Alongside the single’s release came the announcement of BEL’s debut album Holy Grail, out October 16th. The album will feature “Party Tricks,” as well as BEL’s two previous singles of 2025, “I Want” and “Fresh Start.” Ahead of the album’s release BEL will be playing several shows along the East Coast, including a stop in Ocean City, MD for Oceans Calling Festival. BEL will then head back to the West Coast to play her album release show at LA’s Moroccan Lounge.
