Blu DeTiger and Biig Piig Capture Lightning in a Bottle With "Crash Course"

Whether it’s a go-kart track or the winding roads of life, we can’t evade a few fender benders, but we at the very least can look hot while doing it. A loopy ride through electronic effects and backed by an infectious bass line, “Crash Course” arrives as a chaotically cool track from Blu DeTiger and Biig Piig.

As the “it girls” in their respective US and UK lanes, this collaboration is lightning in a bottle. Biig Piig’s vocals on the chorus are mesmerizing, creating a hypnotic concoction when met with Blu’s. The lyrics are smug, the groove is funky, and the song is a summertime sorbet. “Crash Course” only confirms what we’ve already known: their confidence is well-warranted, self-resourced, and they’re not sorry about it. Paired with a fun visual set in a go-kart track, their chemistry is easy as falling in love with this song is.

This isn’t the world’s first listen to “Crash Course,” as Blu commanded crowds with it during her many recent festivals performances, including Governors Ball, Electric Forest, and Bonnaroo. In the meantime, Biig Piig’s been busy collecting BBC recognition and embarking on a U.S. tour with Big Wild.

Half pop star, half rockstar, Blu is taking over with very minimal effort, and Biig Piig is blazing her own neo-soul lane. Beyond being ones to watch, Blu DeTiger and Biig Piig dare you to catch them if you can.
