CLUB INDGO Serve Up a Groove-Inducing Debut EP With 'SUNDRY'

Underground seven-member-consortium CLUB INDGO has managed to fortify a deafening buzz and millions of streams with only a few singles to their name. However, upon the release of their debut EP SUNDRY, we’re finally getting a full scope of who CLUB INDGO is right now, and we’re certain it’s not who they’ll be tomorrow.

An eclectic stew of genres, SUNDRY is an explosion of sound. From alternative to R&B to hints of Brazilian funk, the only through line on this project is movement. A love letter to groove, SUNDRY is impossible to stand still to; Sanca’s vocals summon you alive amidst an eccentric sonic boom. The seven-track project’s production stands out as a major player, mostly thanks to in-house producer ProSwervez alongside LA native Marv Ali and Rhode Island instrumentalist Cicatriz.

There’s a metamorphosis we follow throughout the EP, a cyclical spiral that takes you up, down, and back up again. “Beside Me” is loud and hypnotic, a perfect chaos, while “Takin Me Home (24Hrs)” leans into a more sultry allure.

CLUB INDGO has no business being described within the confinement of genre. Sanća, Juelz, ProSwervez, ALI, Dochee, Buu, and Dalvin Lopes each lend a distinct palette of style, offering a dollop of everything that melts into something totally anew. Pouring two years of love into the project, SUNDRY is a well-rounded introduction to how unpredictably funky CLUB INDGO is, and they're only just getting started.
