At just 21 years old, Emily Krueger has trained herself to become one of the most angelic voices we've ever heard. As a child, Krueger fell in love with writing when she learned how to play the piano, which led to a vast range of music phases–including indie, folk, and jazz. Krueger has spent 2019 mainly focusing on her music as she pushed through a painful breakup, and "5 For Ya" is a captivating showcase of that perseverance.

Opening with seductive snapping and charming guitar arrangements, Krueger's live rendition of "5 For Ya" is absolute bliss. The stunning performance also features beautiful pianos and captivating strings alongside Krueger's angelic vocals. As Krueger croons about the west coast's infamous 5 Interstate, we can't help but soak up every word that she sings with conviction and undeniable passion.

On "5 For Ya," Emily Krueger exclusively shared with us,

"Someone special to me once told me, 'I know we'll have our time.' That inspired the song, and that line of '5 For Ya' could essentially sum it all up. I'm at a point where I'm giving everything I have to music, and not a relationship. So whether it be different places in life, timing… the song talks about still knowing regardless, one day it could work out. I grew up in Portland, took the 5 down to LA quite a few times, and along the west coast. Just a symbol of making it work, and making up for lost time for someone who's worth it."
