Foggieraw Gets the Alicia Keys Sign of Approval 'The Foggie Pound 3'

PG-county rapper Foggieraw has finally released his very anticipated viral song, “Psalm 62”, which samples the 2003 Platinum-hit record,  Alicia Keys' “You Don’t Know My Name”  Alicia Keys.

Last week saw Foggieraw drop the breakout song paired with the shorter “Ms. Johnson,” which together make up The Foggie Pound 3. Together, the two singles instantly amassed thousands of fans engaging with the one-of-a-kind creative video posts he would call poems. In the teaser clip, the bubbling rapper, rocking a vintage 2006 Billionaire Boys Club x Ice Cream full-zipped hoodie, is seen geeked over his moment with the iconic R&B singer as the two join forces for what is sure to be a surreal moment of many for the rising star.

Foggieraw recently resurged with a self-directed poetic content series across his TikTok and Instagram, which has made quite a stir with his cinematic storytelling over beloved R&B songs. Fan favorites such as “Psalm 62” and “Ms. Johnson,” which samples Musiq Soulchild’s “Teach Me How To Love” have cemented Foggieraw as an adored, refreshing new artist propelled by engagement pouring in by the millions of views.

In “Psalm 62,” he pens a story about reigniting an old flame, touching upon the impossibility of being just friends again. As “Psalm 62” received a deluge of attention on social media, Foggieraw was able to score a verse on Tobe Nwigwe’s last project alongside his idol Chamillionaire and he has also earned co-signs from SZA, Chance The Rapper, Ari Lennox, Anderson .Paak, IDK, Jessie Reyez, Tierra Whack, and Lena Waithe.

Additionally, Foggieraw makes a glorious return to the stage at Broccoli City Festival as a special guest performer. The annual festival is set to take place in his backyard of Washington, DC at RFK Stadium on July 15th.
