Get Lost in the Soulful Artistry of YEBBA with "Where Do You Go"

After the success of her features on Ed Sheeran's "Best Part of Me" and on Mark Ronson's Late Night Feelings album earlier this year, YEBBA is back and blessing us with her newly released single, "Where Do You Go." The 24 year old Arkansas native, New York-based singer, songwriter, and arranger is giving us a small taste of what's to come with her debut studio album…and boy, are we ready for it.

Having grown up singing and listening to gospel music, as well as arranging and music directing choirs in her hometown of West Memphis, Arkansas, YEBBA's soulful, artistic style is certainly reminiscent of her upbringing and more specifically, an homage to her beginning as a musician.

After moving to New York City in 2016 and releasing her first ever single "Evergreen," she instantly captivated a passionate fan base that led her to collaborate with some of the industry's most well-known figures. In addition to Mark Ronson and Ed Sheeran, YEBBA has performed and recorded with Sam Smith ("No Peace), Chance the Rapper ("Same Drugs"), A Tribe Called Quest ("Melatonin"), and with PJ Morton for her 2019 Grammy-winning performance on "How Deep is Your Love." With or without the collaborations, and after securing her first GRAMMY award for Best Traditional R&B Performance, YEBBA is certainly a force to be reckoned with upon the release of her highly anticipated debut album.

"Where Do You Go" is just a brief introduction of what’s to come. Laced between the gentle and dream-like production from  BJ Burton (Bon Iver, Francis and the Lights, Low, Lizzo), YEBBA's songwriting and angelic vocals are placed on display to deliver a story that is rooted in nostalgia and wishful thinking.
