Jess Connelly Has Us Completely "Hooked"

Jess Connelly is starting October off right with her first single since her massive mixtape, JCON. The dreamy Filipino-Aussie singer songwriter has been steadily making waves from Manila, Philippines. Her bass driven tune, "Hooked / Good Lover," provides the perfect to soundtrack your fall afternoon. Smooth like a hot salted caramel mocha, Connelly's voice floats over the honey-toned melody.

Outside the leaves are beginning to change, and Connelly's new single seems to encapsulate exactly that. There's a great moment at 2:54 where the song, like the seasons, starts to change. The keyboard creeps back as Connelly slides into the song's speedier second half. All of a sudden there's more bounce and pop, and you're left longing for more of where that came from.
