JOA Falls Down the Rabbit Hole in “Even if it's a lie” Video [Premiere]

Occasionally, we are mesmerized, so mesmerized we agree to embark on a proper, colorful, feather-filled romp with an artist we adore. Enter stage right, JOA and a life-sized rabbit. In this film-like short, directed by Hedda Rysstad, the storytelling lyricist of JOA comes to life in a fantasy-adjacent, surreal romance fable that pairs just perfectly with the song's bright and textured harmonies. Fresh off a recent EP, Feelings You Don’t Say Out Loud, JOA has been busy taking this single to another level on viral charts, and clearly, we wanted an honest assessment of her love as a lie metaphor in a visual form to keep the vibes sailing upwards.
