KANNER Is A "RICH MAN" On Empowering New Single | THE NOISE

After breaking through with the impactful initial offerings "MEGAPHONE MOUTH" and "BULL IN A CHINA SHOP" last year, pop-punk artist KANNER is returning to deliver her explosive new single "RICH MAN." Channeling more of that bold and infectious alt-pop energy she is building for herself, "RICH MAN" makes for an incredibly infectious return to form for her.

Inspired by the famous words of pop icon Cher, "RICH MAN" stands tall as a bold pop-rock feminine anthem, and aims to empower and dismantle societal expectations, challenging the notion of a woman needing a man to complete herself. Her gritty, determined vocals soar over a backdrop of pulsating guitars and driving rhythms, amplifying the anthem's message of empowerment. It is a song and a battle cry for women everywhere to embrace their strength, resilience, and inherent value while rocking out to an infectious and robust record.

When asked who the single was written for, the artist shared with The Noise, "'RICH MAN' IS FOR ANYONE WHO HAS BEEN TOLD THEY NEED TO BE SOMEONE ELSE IN ORDER TO SUCCEED!"

The accompanying music video, Mandy Lee and Matty Vogel of MisterWives, edited by KANNER, is an outrageous visual that follows the singer as she enjoys the finer things in life. Money rains on her as she drives her mini green SUV and relaxes poolside, drink in hand and not a damn care in the world.

This neon green baddie has spent the past few years making waves in local songwriting circles, and her talent has not gone unnoticed. She has penned releases for a star-studded list of artists, including Katy Perry, PVRIS, ZHU, Mckenna Grace, Royal and the Serpent, Maggie Lindemann, and more. With such impressive collaborations under her belt, KANNER is now ready to step into the spotlight with her EP, set to release in the late Summer of 2024.
