Born as Nir Tibor in Tel Aviv, Israel, the multi-talented Dennis Lloyd independently wrote, recorded, mixed, and produced every exceptional track off his mind-blowing new EP, Exident. Blending together elements of synth-pop and alternative R&B, Exident sees Lloyd tearing himself apart as he narrates the tragic story of a seemingly everlasting relationship.

On the hectic relationship that inspired Exident, Lloyd shared with Billboard,

"I wanted to be isolated, work on my sound, and find myself. I had no WiFi, no friends. All I had was a microphone, computer, and my trumpet. What I didn't expect was to fall in love with a Colombian girl that I met in Laos. From there, we spent a month in the Philippines, lived together in Bangkok, and eventually moved home to Tel Aviv together."

The five-track collection details the various emotional phases Lloyd experienced post-breakup, beginning with a brief love letter he penned to her called "Introducción." From the get go, Lloyd fully allows himself to be vulnerable as acknowledges the good and bad times with his past lover. He sincerely apologizes for what he's about to say, expresses his love for her, and begs for forgiveness–all in Spanish, the official language of his ex's native Columbia.

Exident continues with "Aura," which is actually the final song he wrote about his ladylove. In an attempt to uncover what destroyed their doomed relationship, Lloyd eventually realizes that this really shouldn't be of any concern to him because he's clearly better on his own. With a surprising trumpet number in the bridge of "Never Go Back," Exident celebrates the pivotal moment Lloyd registers that their questionable relationship may not have been as fruitful as he once convinced himself it was.

Depressed after the breakup, Lloyd was touched by a TED Talk by Dr. Gary Lewandowski focused on relationships, so he included a portion of the audio in "GFY" "Relationships are the single most important thing to you in your life ... When you think back on your life ... It's going to be, 'I wish I spent more time with the people I love.'" Shifting away from anger, Exident closes with "Runaway," which sees Lloyd tirelessly trying to move on from the relationship that still means so much to him.

On Exident, Dennis Lloyd shared,

"I'm on my own, I'm better alone and now that you're gone... I feel alive. Let me connect the dots for you. 'Nevermind â†' 'Never Go Back' â†' 'Exident.' They're all connected... They're all about my real life, my actual relationship, and the loneliness after the breakup. I've never shared anything more personal than this EP. I hope it'll help heal your heart. Love u all."
