Peach Tree Rascals and AG Club Link For the Effortlessly Chill "Cold Outside"
Music collective Peach Tree Rascals have once again collaborated with the Bay Area's AG Club, creating "Cold Outside, the perfect track for the blossoming spring season. The YouTube and Soundcloud exclusive track is fueled by mellow beats, catchy percussion patterns, and swoon-worthy vocal melodies that will surely inspire anyone who listens to sit down and vibe.
"Cold Outside" opens with a lo-fi, easygoing sound collage, with the artists introducing the chorus' earworm hooks. Jody Fontaine of AG Club's presence in the first verse adds a stellar layer of dynamics, juxtaposing Peach Tree Rascal's brighter tones with his deep, husky line delivery.
The accompanying music video, produced by Andre Samuel, is a fun visual that follows the group as they adventure around LA. Scenes of the collective and company driving on city streets intercut footage of them performing the track in the middle of intersections as people around them go about their day.
"Cold Outside" follows the success of the group's previous release, "HIGHWITCHA." The soulful, nostalgic track marks a new era for Peach Tree Rascals as they blend their signature sunny sonics into elements of R&B that feel more mature as if the band has found and embraced the next stage of their identity as artists. It's a new year for the Rascals, and fans are at the edge of their seats to see what they've got in store.
