Representing Oakville, Ontario, artist quami.xyz showcases the versatility of his alternative R&B sound in his newest single, "evolve." Serving as follow-up to his previous singles "selfless" and "clothespins," "evolve" marks the third single from his highly anticipated EP, to be born, set to release later this year.

Backed by soul-searching croons, "evolve" is an introspective reflection on the highs and lows that have shaped him not only as the man but the artist he is today, as well as doubling as a guiding light for who he wishes to become. Despite its grievous yet harmonious composition, with the artist's poignant lyrics emphasizing the track's sorrowful themes, "evolve" reflects on not only quami.xyz's internal growth and maturity but showcases his ongoing personal and artistic development.

"evolve" is a song unafraid to directly confront the difficult past decisions, mistakes, and overall actions that while harrowing have ultimately culminated in marked growth. A sonic testament to the notion that what doesn't kill us, makes us stronger. The acknowledgment of his past and the humility that comes along with it speaks volumes about the quami.xyz's desire to accept his past, present, and future self - flaws, beauty, and all.
