At a notably young age, Ben McGibboney sacrificed a promising career in football and created the innovative moniker, love-sadKiD (which goes by they/them pronouns), to serve as their entry way into the booming rap world. With an impressive discography consisting of countless singles and two collaborative EPs with Dahm, as well as a tour with Hobo Johnson under his belt, love-sadKiD is currently working on more music for their burgeoning fanbase. The Texas-native is only 16 years old, but love-sadKiD's developed lyricism speaks wonders as they explore complex relationships in the introspective new single, "Look At The Time."

love-sadKiD's rare ability to be sincere in every outstanding release is prevalent in "Look At The Time," a chilling track about one of love-sadKiD's troublesome past relationships. love-sadKiD suggests that their ex couldn't be close to what they needed or wanted so their once-undeniably strong connection eventually went adrift and was never resuscitated. With charming elements of lo-fi, "Look At The Time" will make you join love-sadKiD in reflecting on your own past romantic partners and realizing how much you've grown since removing yourself from those situations.

love-sadKiD exclusively shared with Ones To Watch:

"I wrote this song about an ex of mine whom I had a rather contentious relationship with. I wrote the hook on it a few months ago and based it on a text I sent her about not being childish anymore."

Ones To Watch has your first listen of "Look At The Time" right in time for Valentine's Day below:
