RITUAL and Tove Styrke Take Us to the End With "Love Me Back" Video

Chances are that you most likely haven't heard of the London-native trio RITUAL, but if you've listened to Dua Lipa's "Hotter Than Hell," Avicii's "Touch Me" or Little Mix's "Nobody Like You," you are definitely familiar with their work. The Los Angeles-based triad (Adam Midgely, Gerard O'Connell, Tommy Baxter) has built a steady fanbase over the past few years with electronic/R&B feel good vibes, honest lyrics and noteworthy collaborations with 6LACK and Denzel Curry. But 2019 is shaping to be their best year yet.

Dreamers Never Learn is the newest project on the horizon for the trio set to entwine modern-day love songs with the authenticity and rawness that is present in all of their projects. Incorporating collaborations with important up-and-coming female vocalists, Dreamers Never Learn is bound to be exciting and new. It gives RITUAL a chance to showcase themselves as the artists they truly are, with Midgely sharing,

"Musically, I see it as somewhere between a modern electronic pop brand that has features with big artists - like a Daft Punk, Disclosure or Marshmello. But one that also has a very real soul and depth, with meaning and emotion behind the lyrics that are all interconnected. And there's this indie melancholy about it that's more in keeping with the great British guitar bands like The Smiths right thru to Coldplay."

Their newest single, "Love Me Back" co-written by Grammy-nominated Emily Warren, features Swedish electropop princess Tove Styrke and is a teasing look at what the new record has to offer us. With a female-male voice pairing and hypnotic vocals, the single has us grooving and immediately humming along with Styrke as she sings of a love that has come to its end.

As if the song isn't already captivating enough, the music video is enthralling in a cinematic sense and brings us right in the middle of the story with Styrke dancing around in front of her detached partner in an attempt to break free of the maze she is literally in.
