On Snoh Aalegra's previous project, Ugh, Those Feels Again, we were treated to over a dozen tracks that took inspiration from R&B and rap, forging a sound that Aalegra described as "cinematic soul." Joined by artists like Tyler, the Creator and the legendary James Fauntleroy, she delivers fans a painstakingly-honed sound that sounds like she hasn't taken a day off since 2019.

Though time has produced a significant gap since Aalegra's last project, it would be a severe understatement to say that TEMPORARY HIGHS IN THE VIOLET SKIES was well worth the wait. Aalegra's envious vocal ability has once again proven itself to be at the top of its game, as every track's meticulously-polished mix serves as the perfect foundation for her to grace fans with something equally beautiful and genre-pushing.
