Trailblazing production duo Snow Strippers, consisting of Tatiana Schwaninger and Graham Perez, return with the release of their latest single, "So What If I'm A Freak." The track, which will be featured on the pair's upcoming record Night Killaz Vol. 2, out May 8, is classic Snow Strippers. Enigmatic and explosive production captures the imagination as the track pulsates with unapologetic anarchic abandon, creating an experience that is undeniably trashy yet hauntingly evocative.

"So What If I'm A Freak" opens with a kaleidoscopic array of synths and beats, ushering the listener down the rabbit hole and entering out the other side in the midst of a mesmerizing party and ready to trip. Perez's spectral vocals croon over the production, "Push onto my pulse / I can see your face / Behind the smoke / Sometimes I wonder if / You like it when I'm dyin' for it." Embracing their "freak," the track intensifies to a tipping point before sampling the viral Youtube video "im with the suicide squad," braces the listener for the sonic impact of the chorus. The sound of guns cocking and firing away intertwines with the throbbing vibrations of the hook, teleporting us all to a sonic plane that feels reminiscent of the Spring Breakers soundtrack but with an improved-upon 2024 twist.

The accompanying music video features Schwaninger and company dancing by an indoor pool and gallivanting around an empty mansion. Singing along to the song, the party makes their way to the mansion's home theater, continuing to drink and dance as videos play in the background.

Since their debut singles in 2021, Snow Strippers have shown no signs of slowing down with a series of mixtapes, EPs, and a self-titled album. In 2023, the pair released their last EP, Night Killaz Vol. 1, and sold out The Roxy in LA. The EP is the perfect record for the chronically online, blending the stark electronics of witch house and rave atmospherics, combusting with color and sound.
