Sugar Joans Bookmarks the End of Summer With "Perfect" Video [Premiere]
Los Angeles-based singer Sugar Joans is back with a new video for her latest single "Perfect." The song, which we premiered earlier this summer, is a must add to the playlist for any socially distanced function you're having right now.
When asked about the premise behind the video, Joans shared,
Because the song itself has such a nostalgic vibe, I wanted to the video to pay homage to all the people who have influenced me as an artist. Especially the R&B females of the 90's and early 2000's that I grew up listening to - like Ashanti and the late, great Aaliyah. Hugh and I are both born and raised in Los Angeles, so we really wanted to represent the city in the vid with classic California scenery and feel good moments as a send off to summer.
