Tommy Newport Drops New Visuals for Groove-Soaked Banger "Yellow Lines"
As if we didn't know it already, Tommy Newport shows us just how cool he is in the new music video for "Yellow Lines." A collage of vintage-style clips and trippy psychedelic edits, Newport takes us around Los Angeles, while simultaneously showing off his array of funky hats. Through a colorful yet gritty lens, we see the Kansas based artist running through the streets of Hollywood, trying to keep inside the "Yellow Lines," while wanting to run wild and free. His silhouette stands against a stunning backdrop of Los Angeles, with a glowing fuchsia sunset creating a dreamy scene that we'd all love to transport to.
The wacky visuals, which were filmed with producer and collaborator 4th Pyramid are the perfect accompaniment to the funky new song. "Yellow Lines" is so contagious that you can't help but move to the throbbing bass and snappy percussion. Newport's deep, effortless vocals narrate the battle of trying to keep your eyes on the prize, while the distracting noise of the world whizzes around you. A feeling we can all relate to, the songwriter delivers it with a dance worthy beat that'll be stuck in your head all day long.
We've been following Newport's releases for a while, but this might just be our favorite of them all.
