From first posting covers on YouTube at the tender age of 14 to connecting with audiences across the globe at sold-out shows, music has always seemed to come naturally to cavetown. It's little wonder then that much of the British artist's discography revolves around deeply personal themes, akin to trading secrets with a close friend in the waking hours of twilight. We had the chance to catch up with cavetown at this year's Lollapalooza to speak on retaining his raw DIY sound, if vulnerable songwriting comes naturally, and spending time away from his cats.
