FLETCHER's  "Undrunk" Is the Post-Breakup Anthem You Didn't Know You Needed

While New Jersey-native FLETCHER is not new to the music scene, she is officially ready to make her name known. Cari Fletcher, a graduate of New York University's Clive Davis Institute for Recorded Music, has already performed at various notable festivals. Among them, Lollapalooza, Bonnaroo and Life Is Beautiful. With more than 100-million streams and three features on Spotify's New Music Friday playlist under her belt, FLETCHER is now ready to make her Capitol Records debut with "Undrunk."

Pulling from her experiences with love and heartbreak as a college student in New York City, the single is vulnerable, highly relatable and catchy. With rich vocals and authentic lyrics, the single is the perfect anthem for modern-day breakups.

We're accustomed to hearing songs about the mistakes and emotions that surround relationships, but FLETCHER puts a twist on the stereotype of breakup songs and sings in present-tense of the mistakes she wishes she could undo. She sings,

"I wish I could un-kiss the room full of strangers / so I could un-spite you, un-lose my temper / but somethings you can't undo / and one of them's you"

Produced by Malay, whose collaborations include Frank Ocean and Lorde, the song features the ingredients for a breakout hit and offers a refreshing yet poignant take on heartbreak.

The single is only a taste of what's to come from emerging pop sensation. Listen to it below:
