Toronto-based rockers The Beaches are glam rock and garage, undeniably warm and unquestionably cool. They are the girls next door and they are the life of the party. However you break it down, The Beaches are 100% rock and roll.
Their songwriting style is equal parts cynical and genuine, flirty and brash with their surf-rock-indie-pop fusion. They’ve sparked a social media frenzy of support for their tongue-in-cheek single, “Blame Brett,” a prime example of the band’s infectiously angsty style. The Beaches’ are gearing up for their sophomore LP Blame My Ex and North American tour Fall 2023.
Comprised of sisters Jordan and Kylie Miller (on lead vocals/bass and guitar, respectively), Eliza Enman-McDaniel on drums, and Leandra Earl on keys and guitar, the band has a natural kismet that shines through on each of their tracks and in their live performance. Gearing up for their sophomore LP, Blame My Ex, the band shows us their vulnerable side with recent single, "What Doesn't Kill You Makes You Paranoid."
