MËSTIZA: The union between Spanish tradition and the contemporaneity of electronic music
What is Quëreles all about?
It’s our new album, a work based in our Spanish essence.
How’d you settle on your sound?
We were born with these sounds in Spain. For us it has been very easy to bring to the stage something that we have always heard at home.
Any collaborations or features?
The album is full of collaborations from both flamenco and electronic artists. we hope you like it a lot
How do you feel your sound has evolved or changed since you first linked up?
Our sound has had a very clear evolution, especially in the more electronic part. We have always respected the structure of flamenco in its different “palos,” but our sound has become darker and more energetic over time.
How did you settle on your very unique styling and aesthetic?
It is a reinterpretation of the Spanish aesthetic imaginary.
Besides this excellent album, what else should we be on the lookout for?
An eternal tour 😝, we would never stop playing all over the world. so above all many shows, collaborations with artists and brands and above all SACRO our party in Ibiza, Tulum, Madrid, Paris and many more places.
What's inspiring you right now outside of music?
The people, their cultures, their way of thinking and behaving. We are great lovers of history and travel.
Food or drink best suited to enjoying your work?
A cup of red wine and probably “gazpacho.”
Who are your Ones To Watch?
We are big fans of some Spanish artists like Israel Fernández or La Plazuela. We love the people who carry our culture ahead ♥️
