Ashnikko's Viral Hit "STUPID" Gets a Blood-Soaked Video Treatment

Ashnikko's not wasting any time. The North Carolina - born artist, whose real name is Ashton Casey, has an explosive hip-hop track that's been taking the internet by storm. After watching TikTok propel the careers of Lil Nas X, bbno$, Lizzo, and Ava Max, Ashnikko is planning to make the most out of her female empowerment anthem "STUPID." To celebrate the single reaching over 10 million streams on Spotify alone, Ashnikko is back with a video for her massive internet hit.

"STUPID" arrived in summer '19 on Ashnikko's debut EP,  Hi, It's Me. Yet, only recently has it completely gone viral thanks to TikTok. According to Genius, roughly 400,000 TikTok videos have featured Ashnikko's song since September. But it didn't stop there. People actively went looking for the track on Youtube, Apple Music, and Spotify, cementing Ashnikko as a certified viral phenomenon.

With no mainstream media coverage, Ashnikko is using her virality as leverage to kick down the door into the music industry. The futuristic new wave rapper was able to catch Danny Brown's eye, who then invited her to join him on his tour this fall.

"STUPID," which features Yung Baby Tate is shocking, in the best way possible. It's naughty and loud! In it, Ashnikko exposes just how dumb and needy guys can be. And the video is wild, just in time for Halloween! All I'll say is if your one of Ashnikko's exes, you should run… and fast!
