Billy Lemos  Emphasizes Unspoken Communication on Collaboration with Still Woozy & Blake Saint David, "Wait"

Iowa native Billy Lemos released his latest indie pop single "Wait" with Still Woozy and Blake Saint David and it is just as dreamy as imagined. Lemos first came on the scene in 2017 with his debut EP,  Self.  This young producer takes a different approach to every one of his uplifting pieces; he doesn't like to stick to a pattern within each song. His unconventional approach draws inspiration from Tyler the Creator, as displayed by all his Golf merchandise in the "Wait" music video. "Wait" emphasizes the importance of looking into each other's eyes for communication in a relationship. Lemos places an emphasis on his eyes in the video by enlarging them at certain points to mirror the lyrics.

The nostalgic, colorful "Wait" music video is reminiscent of a time without any worries. It is a playful, hazy dream and features Lemos roaming around town on his bike and playing on a playground. This video blended perfectly with the relaxed vibe of the song. Watch the video for "Wait" down below:

Be sure to check out Lemos live when he plays the Mercury Lounge in New York on Feb. 1.
