Cece Coakley Embraces the "Cliché" on Lovesick Debut Single

Tennessee-based singer-songwriter Cece Coakley  has been building up an audience on TikTok with snippets of unreleased music that showcase her vulnerable songwriting and breathtaking vocal performances. All that heightened anticipation leads us to her debut single  "Cliché," which certainly proves itself to be well worth the wait.

"Cliché" is a bright and laid-back track that puts Coakley's relatable songwriting and stunning vocals front and center. "'Cliché' is a feel good song I wrote about all the classic love story tropes and how I embarrassingly apply them to my life. As cheesy as it can be, we all just want a love that feels like the classics!“ Coakley tells us. It's a sentiment that rings loud and true as Coakley delivers a sublimely saccharine ode to finding yourself head over heels.

More than just a standout debut single, "Cliché" is a demonstration of Coakley's innate potential and lack of ceilings for the up-and-coming artist. If her songwriting and vocal chops are any indication of what's to come, then make sure to anticipate her next release.
