Chloe Qisha Transforms Heartbreak Into a Statement Accessory in "So Sad So Hot"

Heartbreak, unfortunately, looks good on Chloe Qisha in her latest single, "So Sad So Hot." This alt-pop masterpiece is a captivating blend of chic darkness and vibrant, upbeat melodies. It skillfully incorporates funk and disco influences from different eras, yet maintains a fresh, contemporary pop sound that is distinctly Qisha.

Qisha's rich, velvety vocals immediately draw the listener in amid the nostalgic and brooding instrumentation. Her lyrics paint a vivid picture of sleep deprivation and wanting, yet there's a magnetism that attracts everyone around her. The chorus, where she croons, "I guess the tears are bringing out the color in my eyes, Oh God I miss you but I put my broken heart on ice," is a powerful expression of her emotional journey.

Speaking about her new single, Qisha shared," 'So Sad So Hot' is a playful take on heartbreak - finding yourself in the throes of sadness whilst being the most magnetic person in the room. I wanted to write a song about wearing sadness as an accessory, letting it empower you instead of it dragging you down. I like to think that this song is an assertive reminder that you're still that bad bitch even if you've had your heart broken. This song is the opener to a new era for me, and I'm so excited she's coming in with a bang."

Following a run of spectacular shows this summer, including supporting Coldplay at Wembley Stadium for three nights, British Summer Time, All Points East, Primavera, and Leeds Festival, Chloe Qisha is now embarking on her UK and EU tour this Fall. Following her UK and EU tour, which includes dates in London, Manchester, Bristol, Glasgow, Paris, Brussels, Amsterdam, and Berlin, Chloe will begin her first-ever US and Canadian tour in Spring 2026, with stops in cities like New York, Montréal, Toronto, Chicago, San Francisco, and LA.
