The Stars Align in d4vd's and Hyunjin "Always Love"

The stars have finally aligned! d4vd and Stray Kids' Hyunjin's online mutual friendship has reached a crescendo as the pair release "Always Love." This unique collaboration combines d4vd's heartfelt, yearning sound, dreamy guitar riffs, and swooning production with Hyunjin's soothing vocals. The pair explores themes of desire and acceptance through alternating verses, creating a one-of-a-kind musical experience that hovers between a goodbye you can't accept and the hope that maybe, just maybe, there is something worth saving.

"Always Love" unfolds like a love story, delving deep into desires, aspirations, and foregone conclusions. The song's emotional architecture is built on a progression of questions like "do you," "would you," and "are you," leading to the final acceptance, "I don't need no one else, but you," that grows increasingly vulnerable. d4vd admits on his opening verse, "Suddenly I've become just a memory of someone / Hear the melodies from my voice / They'll call you back to me, but it's your choice."

This journey is one of reevaluation, where an individual's deep questioning about a relationship ultimately dissolves into the realization that only the presence of their loved one truly matters. d4vd and Hyunjin's alternating vocal melodies flawlessly express these complex emotions, resulting in this powerful piece.

"This was a true full circle moment," shares d4vd. "Hyunjin mentioned me in an interview last year then I mentioned him on the radio when I was in Korea and it just kind of kept spiraling until ultimately we got to work together. He's so talented and I'm really excited with how the song turned out. I'd like to especially thank the Stray Kids fans for being so supportive and accepting of this collaboration."

The release follows d4vd's debut album, Withered, a fifteen-track collection that chronicles the lifecycle of a relationship. The anticipation is palpable as his 'Withered 2025 World Tour' kicks off on August 5 in Del Mar and will make stops in cities like New York City, London, and Berlin before wrapping up on November 4 in Warsaw, Poland.
