A refreshing take on love. The feeling of holding on to someone and never letting go. The affirmation of knowing that person is by your side through all of the ups-and-downs. Dempsey Hope tells his love story and brings us an incredibly positive vibe with his new single "When I Wake Up."

Hope is an emerging pop artist out of Seattle, Washington. His positive take on life gleams within his music. In his new single "When I Wake Up," Hope touches on enduring loyalty toward his significant other. The fight to keep them close and prove his devotion in his relationship. His need to know that they feel the same way. Hope spoke further on the new single, sharing,

"'When I Wake Up' is an affirmation of love to my significant other. This is a real love, a special person that I can truly rely on, my rock. My realization in this song is that all the little things matter and that none of them should be taken for granted."

“When I wake Up" is easy to the ear. It's the type of tune that effortlessly puts you in a good mood. Laying on the beach, next to the one you love and watching the sun set slowly beyond the horizon.

Hope demonstrates his vocal abilities with his quick-spitting, which shifts straight into singing at a moment's notice. With this release, Hope easily proves himself as an industry contender along the lines of Rex Orange County and Dominic Fike. Good vibes only from the emerging Hope.
